The well-known Ukrainian artist will present new and already well-known tapestries of different years at the exhibition “Reflections”.
The exposition is based on works-reflections on the following topics: the desire of the human soul to know the truth, self-improvement; love that inspires and inspires; love for the native land, admiration for the world around, intelligently created and filled with love. The vast majority are compositions with birds that meet each other in anticipation of joyful embraces, or directed in a single flight up to the light. Each tapestry is a certain period of life, state, mood, thoughts, special experiences. These are stories with deep meaning and symbolism.
The works are made in the ancient technique of double-sided smooth hand weaving with natural woolen threads. They attract with the depth of the combination of tradition and modernity, unique texture, warmth and special harmony of colors. Some works are made in a limited range of natural uncolored shades of wool, complemented by dyed. This combination symbolizes the harmonious coexistence of nature and man.
The exhibition also presents modern thematic monumental ornamental works in the author’s style, created on the basis of the best traditions of the Ukrainian carpet and the characteristics of the Ukrainian Baroque, passed through the prism of the artist’s personal vision. Including tapestries that were recognized as the best at the All-Ukrainian exhibitions-competitions “The best work of the year”. At the heart of these compositions is the eternal symbol of the genus – “Tree of Life”, which grows from the depths of the ages to the present. It is a connection of generations, past, present and future, love for traditions and native culture.
Each person surrounds himself and the surrounding space with what he is filled with. In the beauty of the Universe, human souls, relationships, love – a manifestation of World Love. Inner beauty strives for the beauty of the environment.
The exhibition will receive visitors from December 22 to January 10.
