National Museum “Kyiv Art Gallery” From his grandfather and parents, Sergei Vovk inherited a love for his native land, found his own original approach to the image of its epic, song beauty. With a piercing feeling he embodies the delicate and delicate beauty of flowers, juicy fruits, the flexibility of grasses, the impressive beauty of the Dnieper and its banks. The artist received a classical art education, so his work focuses on the best achievements of world painting. For example, the artist subordinated the discoveries and discoveries of Impressionism to his own creative tasks and ideas, filling his paintings with the radiance of sunlight, which transforms everyday into extraterrestrial, magical and at the same time very close to man. More than 20 years ago, a personal exhibition of the painter entitled “What I love” took place. On his canvases are still those whom he loves and what he will always love.

Now Vovk is going through a period of creative maturity. His brush gives birth to new and new works, where from time to time new ideas, new heroes, new motives appear. But fidelity to the chosen path remains unchanged, like love for life, for the child, for God.
